To coincide with the turn of the year, the funk social crime format Der Fall is entering its next round. After the successful first season, the hosts will once again report every two weeks from courtrooms and crime scenes, always with an eye on social realities.
Why does a crime happen? And why do the victims so often have to take a back seat and not the perpetrators? The team of Der Fall gets to the bottom of these and many other questions.
In cooperation with funk, frontal and LOOKS Media GmbH, a podcast is now being produced in weekly rotation in addition to the YouTube videos.
In it, criminal psychologist Lydia Benecke, among others, takes an in-depth look at the cases and provides exciting insights into the psychological connections.
The pilot episode of the second season starts with a spectacular case. The YouTube video “Anonymous in court: Who is Ella?” is about an activist who is arrested during the eviction of a tree house village in Dannenröder Forst. After her arrest by the SEK, however, she refuses to reveal her identity and is remanded in custody. In court, she is therefore also listed as uwP1 (unknown female person 1).
