Jellyfish: Poisonous beauties in the Baltic Sea (German title: NaturNah: Mit Giftharpunen unterwegs)

A 30′ natural history documentary,
written & directed by Florian Dedio

For some of us, jellyfish conjure up painful, stinging childhood memories. Others only know them as gelatinous blobs on a beach during a summer’s vacation.

But whoever has seen them move in their element cannot deny that they hold an eerie fascination.

This documentary follows a group of jellyfish researchers as they explore the fascinating world of jellyfish in the Baltic Sea

In this documentary, we discover the Baltic Sea, diving beneath and flying over its waves. We explore jellyfish in the laboratory, as well as in the wild.
